Take me home, please!

Chiko is an eight-month-old Jack Russel-cross male. He is all you'd expect from a Jack Russell: highly intelligent, energetic, friendly, playful and above all ... an amazingly loyal companion. He loves cuddles, kisses and is just waiting to find a family to love. This boy is a relatively new arrival and is bound to be snatched up soon.

The Sandton SPCA has a number of precious pets up for adoption this week.

Please note that there is a fee attached which covers the cost of vaccinations, deworming and sterilising. There will be a home inspection before an animal can be adopted.

Whip is a four-month-old petite ginger male cat with a gentle nature. He will likely feel more comfortable bonding with a small family and his potential owners will be his one and only love.

Alma is an 18-month-old female schnauzer/terrier cross. She is an absolute darling and this button of a dog packs a whole lot of love, spirit and adoration. She adores being held on laps and cuddled, is gentle in nature and we know she’d make a very snuggly best friend. She would be perfect for a family with a small garden.

Peanut is an eight-month-old male cat. All cuddles, scratches and purrs, Peanut will make the ultimate companion and snuggle buddy for lazy nights in front of the TV. He is a gorgeous and loving addition to any family. Please consider giving him a home, he is one special boy.

Bertie is a nine-month-old female tabby cat. She is all about thick cuddly fur, cheek scratches and a whole lot of loving. She’s patiently waiting for her forever home while all the younger kittens fly out the door. Technically only a kitten herself, she has already braved motherhood and is ready to settle in and be looked after. She has a beautiful nature and would love to be loved.

Lu is an 11-month-old male husky-mix. Lu is very friendly with humans and other dogs alike. He loves cuddles, scratches and hugs. He leans in to maximise his cuddle time. He is highly intelligent, loyal and just waiting to find an owner to adore with all his might. He would make an incredible family dog.
