Players at the College festival will also have access to two recovery centres offering ice baths, sport massages, foam rolling, and more specialised services.

The festival promises great entertainment, exciting sport, and delicious food from a range of vendors including Amici Pizzeria and Paquito’s Treatery. There will also be Thursday and Saturday evening entertainment featuring DJ Chunda Munki and rapper Nasty C.

This year, the 34th edition of its annual Sports Festival, the school has brought out an app with even better functionality. The app offers festival-goers the opportunity to engage with the festival digitally. Among other things, users can select fixtures to add to a personalised schedule, predict scores, and view player, coach, and referee profiles.

Tickets for the U18-only events, called Free the Night and Free the Night 2.0 are available at www.freethenight17.co.za. Tickets cost R40 per festival day.
