JOBURG – The Ansari Youth Club will host a fun family event at an upcoming cricket match at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium this week.

The match will see the Bizhub Highveld Lions take on the Warriors in an exciting clash and will see the youth club host families, and orphans from the Foundation of Love, for an afternoon of cricket.

The fun-filled event will not only see the children and families enjoy a spirited game of cricket, but also 100 donated bats and balls given to the young cricket enthusiasts.

The event, in its second year, will take place on 29 January from 2pm.

"Be the change you want to see in the world" These wise words, uttered by a great icon of the 20th century, have become my mantra as I set out to achieve my goal of making a difference in the world. I am a young, ambitious, driven, passionate journalist who lives and breathes hard news, current affairs, politics, entertainment and yes, gossip. I hope to use my voice to affect change and hold the corrupt and unscrupulous to account. Apart from scouring the streets for news, I enjoy reading, cooking, shopping and going to church.
