JOBURG – The St Stithians 'Saints' Easter Sports Festival is set to return bigger and better, with more than 70 high school teams confirmed to take part this year.

The annual festival will take place over the 2016 Easter weekend and will see teams take part in various sporting codes including rugby, tennis, hockey, squash, basketball and netball.

This year’s edition will also see cross country included in the line-up, ensuring an even bigger pool of sports events.

The sports festival will run from 24 March to 28 March at St Stithians College and will see the likes of Bryanston High School, Redhill School and Pretoria Boys’ High school taking part.

"Be the change you want to see in the world" These wise words, uttered by a great icon of the 20th century, have become my mantra as I set out to achieve my goal of making a difference in the world. I am a young, ambitious, driven, passionate journalist who lives and breathes hard news, current affairs, politics, entertainment and yes, gossip. I hope to use my voice to affect change and hold the corrupt and unscrupulous to account. Apart from scouring the streets for news, I enjoy reading, cooking, shopping and going to church.
